Anyone here know the weight of Sierras brake calipers?
Mine is from a 88 Sierra and I was offered nice once in aluminium that weighs only 800gram.

Do you mean front or rear? Can't vouch for their accuracy, but Rally Design quote 3.2KG
for the rears.

I am lead to believe they approach 4Kgs - could tell you next week when our new lightweight's one's go on... then the old one's would be available to anyone who would part with the necessary.

Rears weight 2ks each - so that's what my kitchen scale says... (sorry swambo )

If it's the front ones I can weight them tonight if you like.. As hellfire says they are heavy, but so is the front uprights and wheels (steel wheels are sometimes lighter than the ali ones!). I guess you want to get the unsprung weight down?
