Hi all.

Which bolts have you used to mount the Sierra steering column? M18? seems a bit drastic...

Thanks,
Joao

m8, and big washers.

you can use top hat bushes to fill the gap, but i left mine to allow a bit of adjustability.

m10's and i packed it up with 3 large nuts bringing the steering colum out 60mm, better position for me

i made a couple of top hat bushes at work with M8 capheads

iv used m10's with some spacers from a seat belt. They fill the gap perfectly.

A while back, I bought a pair of aluminium top hat bushes from a member who made them to order (think they also listed on ebay from time to time.)
Does anybody know who it is as I would like to get some spacers made up to enable the column boss to be be mounted off the chassis bracket ?

Andy.

M8 and penny washers given it a good torque up and I can't budge it.

I believe the sierra used M10 stud and mr SVA likes you to use the same as the manufacturer, I know of people that have used smaller and had a fail because of it so go BIG my friend!!
Cheers.
