I split my prop to help me get it into the tunnel whi'ch I've now managed.

I've lined the marks up so that I know it's back together the way it was but I can't get the damn thing back together properly.

I'm guessing it should be a tight fit to get it back together but I can only get the nose of the front part of the prop about 3/4 of the way through the UJ and that has been a hard battle.

How have others that have split their prop got it back together?

It sounds like its not aligned properly.

When you split it, looking in the female end there is a spline missing, on the male two splines are joined at the very front.

Get this one spline out then with a struggle it will go together, it sounds like you are at that point.
