top-clear of road debris etc?

I have P clipped mine from the top of the bottom rail away from the propshaft and gearbox which is likely to move and damage the pipes on bumps etc.

They dont have to sit on the floor if they are on the bottom rail.
Mine entered at the top of the tunnel and immediately dropped to the bottom where I think they are safer, dont forget cars run them under the floor.

brake pipe along one side on the bottom and fuel along the other side on the bottom. If I was doing it again, I would also run a strip of Ally inside the tunnel to rivet both lines to.

As Dean says, production cars run brake and fuel lines along the underside of the car, so in the tunnel (clear of prop-shaft etc) has to be as good if not better.
