where does the brake switch have to go in your brake line or can it go anywhere

I guess it can go anywhere, mine is at the back so that its near the lights to make the wiring easier.

It can go anywhere. Mine's t'd off near the master cyl as thats where the wires were in my loom. Plus its out the way.

My brake light pressure switch is at the back, went through SVA ok.

It has been quoted on here that they should be at the front and some have plugged them into s[are outlets on master cylinders, at the end of the day its where its suits.

Like above i put it at the back because it was out of the way and easy to wire into the loom .

I use a hydraulic brake light switch and I have mounted it on the side of the pedal box into the line going to the rear. It was convenient to put it there but as has already been said, I don't think it matters whre in the system it goes.
