Hi all, The old chestnut again, I have a type2 gearbox and I need to extend the gearstick, I have used my car several times and I have missed a few gears with the long gangly lever I need to change this, does anyone have anything I could use or have I got to try and knock something up.

Try a variation on this see if it helps.



I'd say it could be make a lot neater but it gives you a starting point.

Have a look in DavidM photo archive he has a very neat extension that hides in the tunnel.
