Folks,

My donor had ABS but my Locost will not. I have aquired a standard Sierra servo and master cyclinder. Because I got it so long ago I forgot which outlet goes to which wheel.

I think the 2 at the end of the master cyclinder go to each front wheel and the single one half way alone goes to the rear and after a brake bias valve would split and go to each wheel. Am I correct?

Hi Ewan -

U R correct; Mcyl front chamber is usually larger, to provide the greater displacement for the larger brake pistons. Likewise, the primary chamber (the one nearest the mcyl flange) is usually smaller, and therefore connects to the rear, smaller dia pistons.

A number of other builders have used the Sierra mcyl unboosted. An adjustable clevis on the brake pedal is recommended, so that you can set the mcyl pistons accurately. This was previously factory set-up when assembled to the booster.
