
Does anyone know the torque of the bolts holding the rear bearing/caliper carriers for the Sierra. Cheers.
sorry i cant help but it might be an idea to look in a haynes manual....they are usualy quite good, have a quick brouse through one in halfords so you
dont have to pay for it

Halfords and most other places shrink wrap them now, been there tried that. I know the library in town has one in the back room but going to town then
fannying around trying to park is summat in itself round here.
You mean hub to upright, or the big hub nut?
Neither. The bearing carrier that the rear hub bolts onto. It has four bolts that... erm ...bolt to the DeDion. Its the torque figures of these 4 bolts I'm after. Sorry to overuse the word bolt by the way!
auto data book says
back plate to hub= 52-64 nm
rear hub = 250 - 290 nm
