Anyone know what diff ratio a 1.8 Diesel normally has?

3.9 mine was, i broke one.

arnt fords "parts bins specials"? luck of the draw realy from what ive heard

people say that, but IMHO thats not completely true. In my experience its fairly consistant what diff is in what car. Obviously if its a 2 litre petrol then theres no way of knowing, but old 2.3s (diesels or v6s) are always 3.14 or 3.38.

the one i broke was a 3.62

3.62 in the one I found (U on the vin plate I think ?)
