It's a nightmare.....
just wasted a day - I measured the shaft on my damper - 12mm. I measured the thread pitch - 1.25mm.
I went out and bought the tap (£20 notes thankyou very much) & spent yesterday turning up some spacers to make my shocks an inch longer.
Today tried to put it all together & b*gger me, the thread's 7/16UNF
