Hi,
I have to shortern my brake lines supplied by hispec and change one end for 90 degree banjos, so 3 weeks ago, I ordered the ends.
3 weeks later and several telephone calls and still no parts, even though they have been posted twice now - apparantly.
Does anyone know what company they use as I need some banjo's asap that will fit my pipes.
Ta,
Pat...
This probably doesn't help, but for SVA you need one time use (ie. crimped on) ends on brake hoses, not self assembly ones.
Rally Design are apparently very good for custom spec hoses, cheaply.
There has been debate about self assembled lines before on this forum, and cars have passed the S.V.A. with them as long as they have an 'inner
tube' to support the compression, which aeroquip does.

Cheers.
Ordered my bits from Rally design and they arrived two days later.
Just got to put them all together now!

My self made pipes passed, no problem, took along a spec sheet for the product just in case but not asked for it.
Speaking of Hi-Spec, I just cancelled an order with them for various bits and bobs... I was told it would be a quick turn-around, but 2 months of waiting is far too long.
