escort steering column bush/bearings?

the escrot steering column has a bush/bearing at the top and bottom - can these be obtained?

Are they a simple metal (bronze?) bush or ball bearing/race type bearings?

Failing to obtain a lower bearing/bush, can one knock up something at home - bearing in mind I don't have a lathe.

is it likely that the STEERING COLUMN BUSH KIT FOR MK 3 &4 ESCORT AND ORION will fit?

Of the top of my head I can't think of the name. But what you should do is get one of the classic ford mags as there are full of company’s who sell parts for old fords and I've always found them extremely helpful.

i dont think a mk3 or 4 one will fit i may be good used column may be the way to go is it for a mk1 or 2 column i will have a nose through my mags see if i can see anything
