ok clever people,i,m useless at maths and have to work out pulses per mile etc to set my digidash.
rear tyres are 205/60/13 i measure 1790 mm circumfrence.
jack up 1 side and turn the wheel till the prop has turned 2 complete revolutions, the wheel has turned 1 revolution plus an extra 90mm on the
circumference.
extra clues are its a rear loader,mk2 escort as it has self adjusters and 9" drums.
its a major job to remove the rear cover so dont really want to do that.
answers on a bacon roll please
I make it about 889 revs (of the wheel)per mile but it depends on how you measured your rolling circumference (the theoretical circumference of that
tyre is 1810mm)

i think i cocked up the q.
part 2
is the diff 3.6-1?
my speedo will work with a tyre from 1.0-2.5 meters circ and uses up to 6 magnets, you put the numbers in and as if by magic it should work it out.
because of the diff redruction i have to eg use 3 magnets and tell the unit it has 6 and tinker with the stated tyre circ.
confused? i am
will my speedocalculator help??
Geoff
cant open that Geoff,my trusty calculator says its a 3.9 diff,
cheers geoff , just what i needed.
