i have a quick realse steering wheel hub welded it on,but i get a lot of rocking on the steering wheel you can see the black outer boss rocking on the inner.

i bought it from mac1,has anybody else suffered this i dont think its something ive done. the only way i can see to fix the problem would be to have a new inner column and new inner boss and weld it all together again.

I've got a QR steering wheel- no rocking here.....

Mine is also from MAC#1 (along with th rest of the car!) and there is quite a bit of movement in it - and MAC#1 modified the column for me?!?

Aparently a blob of weld strategically placed on the top sorts it, I have the same problem and it's a bit disconcerting!
