Master cylinder rebuild kit
UncleFista - 19/4/07 at 09:21 PM

I didn't have any luck in the Wanted section, so I'll give it a go in here

The master cylinder in my car (Escort Mk2 no servo) needs new seals, the whole master cylinder isn't difficult to get hold of but I'm having problems finding just the seals.

They were available on ebay when I last looked a few weeks ago, but Sods law, they're either not there anymore or my ebay searching skillz are waning.

Anyone know of somewhere I can get just the seals ?

TIA

Ford dealer?

They still ordered in the Sierra master cylinder kits when we wanted one a couple of years ago.

All the replacement ones we looked at were dreadful.. they looked like they'd been cast in choclate with gold wrappers!

Try here. Select make and model. Then the master cylinder, then in the top left associated parts.

Great cheers both of you

Daft as it sounds, I wouldn't have thought of a Ford dealer The brakeparts site is good once I worked out how to use it

Excellent, cheers
