has anyone had this before? got the brake shoes fittered to the plate and pretty much all sorted. Go to feed the handbrake cable through the plate, through the shoe level and the silver ball end of the cable doesnt fit through the hole of the shoe level?

has anyone ever had to sand the end of the cable down? (its a silver ball at the end of the cable)
