Anti Roll Bar Kits?
JimSpencer - 15/5/07 at 04:45 PM

Hi

I've decided - following a long discussion about the cars handling and lots of photo's of the car at speed - that i'm going to have to fit anti roll bars.

The reasons concern the need for soft(ish) springs combined with high(ish) speed turn in to try & suit hillclimbs & sprints without resorting to changing springs for each activity.

I'm running a quite rare Mk3 Striker (outboard shocks & escort live axle) so I'm looking for recommendations of commercially available kits that may be modifiable to suit the car.
(The Sylva's suspension & axle location is very close to the locost book so shouldn't be too much to do..)

Any ideas anybody?

Hi being a live axle there is no point in fitting a rear anti-roll bar. For the front what you are running is not so rare as most of the racing sylvas junked the inboard and went back to the outboard.

The only anti-roll bar kit available i think was from STM but mainly for the pheonix kits.

what you will need is a anti-rollbar kit that is made to suit the aplication not just an off the shelf product.
