hi all iam making the arms for my rear irs
the q is ive got 2 sets of bushes one that takes 10mm bolts and one that takes 12mm bolts. the set that would suit the tubes ive got are the 10mm
bolt ones but would this be safe. or should i buy some more tube and use the 12mm bolt ones.

10mm is fine. Even that is over kill on a car as light as a seven! A decent grade of M8 would do the job! If you are concerned though, just go up to 10.9 or 12.9 grade bolts, they aren't as expensive as you may think. I just brought a 200 box of M6 12.9 bolts for £10! Ok, M10 will be more but you get the idea.
I know your car isn't a seven, but I would also suggest that the 10mm size bolt will be fine, but as above - if you want to make sure, then just
up the bolt to 10.9

I live close to the german border so making it porbably too strong.
At rear I use bottom 2 M12 8.8
At rear upper 1 M16 8.8.
That will hold.
