Alternative steering columns?

Does anyone know if there's a nice alternative steering column to replace the Sierra one? Something a bit more modern, with more or less the same dimensions?

Hi

The "Book" (old one) suggests the Vx Nova as an alternative.
That's what I've used.

Honda Rush has used a Vx one on his Dax, with rod ends and u/j's.
It's very neat.

You can have my spare/old granada one for £20 if you can't find something more modern to suit.

I'm using a GM one (out of a Pontiac Sunfire/Chev Cavalier, here...). It's a tilt column (makes it easy to get in & out of the car), and wiring harnesses from Painless and other companies make harnesses that just plug in to it, which connects all your lights, switches, relays etc. to the supplied fuse panel. Doesn't get easier than that. I don't know if you can find columns like it in the UK, but I'd be surprised if you couldn't...
