Hi Guys

Im finally starting my locost and am currently fiting a Ford V6 2.9i. I have 2 questions that hopefully some one can help me with.

1 What type of rad should I be looking at using?

2 What front spring ratings should I use?

Thanks in advance.

Dave

Dave,

I have a four core rad which is a bit over the top - A lot of guys go volvo.

I have 300 lbs springs in the front and they seem just dandy...

Cheers, Neil.

Thanks for that Neil,

What Volvo do you mean?

a vw polo 1.0 rad will cool it no problem and is really light.

There are plenty of us with over 200hp using this rad with no issues.

PS no I haven't gone mad, that is correct!!! I drive a 2.9 sierra 4x4 as my daily tow car, and my locost has 50hp more power but a tiny rad, and in 350 miles of driving the first time the fan kicked in was last friday, in the hot sun in rush hour traffic in leicester city centre.
