Pro-Tech Dampers

Anyone tried these?

I have AVO adjustables - any opinions as to whether the Pro-Tech's are better?

Infinite damping adjustment too - I am really pleased with mine

Well after those little praises I bought the right ones from protech myself after all

^^^^^^^ ME TOO phoned the guy (Kevin) and spoke/chatted for a while. The deal was IMHO good and so next weekend they should be here.

I should have added that their customer service (in case of questions or problems) is second to none imo.

Lol complex question!

Protech are lighter, no more expensive really, very nicely made and have great service.

In terms of actual damping, between a GOOD Avo and a protech shock there's nowt in it.

However, I have had new avos with wildly different damping effects for the same adjustment on allagedly the same units..................................

with std protech off the shelf units you are comparing cheap dampers with cheap dampers, none are great, that's why they are cheap, but protech are at the top of the cheap damper pile if you see what i mean!

they do build to order units though which matt gilmour tells me are infinitely better, though more expensive, and he should know as he has a shocker dyno!
