I know that I need wheel spacers to give me some clearance on these wheels, the question is. How much spacer should I get?

Take a look at the attached photo and you will see how close the wheel is to the trailing arm.



I know that I need spacers, I just don't know what Size is a minimum to keep the wheels from rubbing. If I keep them smaller than 8mm I won't need to use a hub-centric style adapter. Over that size and I will need longer wheel $tuds too.

I was thinking about using these spacers available on ebay...

I should think that 1/4" total clearance should be enough.

I hope so! My space allowed for the link plus breathing room is 1-1/4".

I would have thought about 3/4" would be the minimal you would want to allow for tyre roll.
This would mean spacers of at least 15mm.
Those spacers on Ebay offer no support for studs or wheel.
Cheap and pretty they may be, but usefull I think not!

The wheels need as large an area as possible to rest against in order to transfer the loads.
Spacers if used should be solid.

Go for some decent spacers and longer studs!
All imho of coarse!

Had the same problem - using peugeot wheels. Fitted 10mm spacers with longer studs from Trackstore, don't be put off by longer studs, they're a doddle to fit and cheap.
