Hi All,

following on from yesterdays post, as i don't have a C spanner, is there an alternative tool to this?

I'm thinking a spring compressor and then i could easily move the platform by hand.

many thanks

A couple of drill bits the correct size is what I've used before now

Spring compressor and hand twisting would work but long term its easier just to buy a C-spanner.... They not that unlocost...

I have one that your welcome to borrow, it fits 2,25 avos but will also most likely fit others.

Hi Paul,

Many thanks for the offer but I just measured mine as 1.9s, however my neighbour happened to have an adjustable one so it looks like problem solved.

many thanks all
