i have a 7.5" diff which wont fit my car and has fixed flanges for the drive shafts
so bought a new 7" diff but it's for drum brakes and the shafts are 1 piece and pull out of it
so can i take the fixed flanges out of my 7.5" diff and fit them into my 7" diff??

i think this part of that article will help me

All non-LSD flanged diffs can be converted to large push in sockets by removing the flanges. The flanges are secured by circlips inside the diff and can be easily removed after the back cover is taken off.

thanking you

Simple answer is yes.

I did exactly the same on mine. Remove the back o the 7.5" diff and you will find 2xcirclips holding the 'fixed flages' into the diff, remove circlips and pull out flanges.

Simply slot these into the 7" diff (mightbe an idea to replace seals (Kit is cheap from ebay), reatach the circlips and job done.
