Where does the decelaration valve fit into the brake system and do i need it. I have cortina disc's at the front and RS2000 drums at the back
with a 1.6 O.H.C engine.
Thanks
What is the master cylinder from? If it's Sierra then you won't need one as the single outlet for the rear brakes is at the back and as far as i remember puts less pressure to the rear. I has the Sierra MS in my last Indy with nothing in between and it was fine.
It is the Sierra M/S, thanks
I have fitted it, pictures in my gallery, link below. Different place to pat's (Avoneer) but same way round.
Regards
Rich
Don't fit a G sensing valve ! it isn't suitable for a Locost.
Although most Locosts are built and pass SVA without any kind of brake pressure regulator or bias pedal box with 9" RS2000/Capri drums it is
just about possible you may need to cut down the pressure to the rear brakes if this is the case then fit a Fiat Uno or Fiat Strada/Ritmo or Lada Riva
valve and add a braket and adjuster screw to make it adjustable.

Like most (but not all) master cylinder the Sierra cylinder puts out the same pressure to both circuits.
