Hi friends,
this is my front setup:
caster: about 7° left, about 5° right
king pin: about 12° left, about 14° right
camber +0°51' left, -1°17' right
toein total +0°18'
I have sierra upright
my wheel are 15, et43

I have no self centering steering and steering wheel is very light. Any advice to obtain any self centering?
Thankyou

Hmmm, How did you changed the KPI.?
Do you have inserts in the upright which can be adjusted? Is ride-height left-right the same, same tyre pressure?

You must try to get both wheels the same.
So caster: left 7 degr. and right also 7 degr. (7 must be enough to self-centre)

camber also left and right the same
would start around 0,5 to 1,5 degr negative.

grtz

I do not have adjustable insert on the upright, ride hight seems to be the same, pressure 1.8 bar both, I will need to regulate camber (when I had the test I did not have time to adjust anything).
I do not know how to change KPI this is what the "machine computerized" say, maybe it read two different value since camber is different from left to right.
Is it possible KPI allows to have plus or minus self centering?
Thankyou Rudy

I think your KPI is ok, as you used the orginal off-set of the sierra. Hopefully someone can tell you more.
It could be ok when the camber is corrected.

I don't think it's the KPI which causes trouble.

Kpi is a litthe higher than ideal, but certainly workable. The first problem lies in that you have different alignment on the 2 sides. Unless you are going oval track racing you want hem to be the same side to side.
Not knowing much about your car, its hard to say, but heres usually a good starting point:
1.5degrees NEGATIVE camber
5 to 7 degrees caster
0 to 1 degree total toe
That should get you driving. You may end up going for more - camber and toe but try that and see. Again, get things the same side to side.
Good Luck.
