Just as the lights turned green? ...... your arse?

jollygreengiant - 14/10/07 at 09:08 PM

Halfshafts, I've known them pop out or snap randomly if toooo much exercise is given.

bob - 14/10/07 at 09:10 PM

I went half shafts, only because i know someone who did exactly the same

davie h - 14/10/07 at 09:14 PM

scoobyis2cool - 15/10/07 at 01:12 AM

I'm also going for clutch. When are you going to put us out of our misery? I'm not gonna be able to sleep if I don't know!

PS Can we have some pics too please?

Pete

iank - 15/10/07 at 07:59 AM

Halfshafts get my vote.

owelly - 15/10/07 at 08:11 AM

I'll go and get some piccies as soon as I persuade my toddler to stop painting the house with Weetabix.

This was a quick spin around the block just to see if the car would move under its own steam.....
Sorry if you get a busted neck............

DIY Si - 15/10/07 at 09:34 AM

Woohoo I guessed right!

scoobyis2cool - 15/10/07 at 10:33 AM

Is that the Alfa that the engine came from? Did you just pull over at the side of the road and swap it with your Pinto while the owner was off shopping?

Pete

Macbeast - 15/10/07 at 11:02 AM

So it was your nearside suspension that broke then ?

owelly - 15/10/07 at 03:30 PM

scoobyis2cool, that Alfa 156 is a 2ltr twinspark that has sat there in disgrace since the selespeed gear box stopped working!! I'll have to get shot of it soon!!

Trev Borg - 16/10/07 at 12:55 AM

I voted Diff

Yippeeeeee I was right

Do I get a Jaffacake

Or am i excluded from the competition due to the fact i was one of the people pushing you back from 10m up the drag strip

procomp - 16/10/07 at 07:17 AM

Hi If using an english diff with anything over 150bhp. It would pay to have it built to competition spec including a solid spacer. Will then be good for 250bhp.

Cheers MATT

A solid spacer won't stop the planet gears from self-destructing!

owelly - 16/10/07 at 08:00 PM

Would fitting the free Atlas axle stop the English from popping????

Coose - 16/10/07 at 08:08 PM

Yip!
