Help Needed!
Has any one got or know were I can get drawings / dimensions / pictures off front and rear wish bones, and the rear hub unit for a Stuart Taylor /
aries motorsport chassis. I have had the chassis built by aries motorsport (I know lazy but I didn't have the time etc to build from scratch)
but I am on a small and tight budget so I'm looking to fabricate as much of the car as I can. really after drawing / dimensions so i can make
these units. Please please help.

Asking Aries? Surely they wouldn't mind if you've bought some of their products.
The other weird thing is you have photos on your websites of the plates for the wishbones - doesn't that give you the dimensions if you have the
plates in front of you?
Final thing - your website shows sierra front uprights - all the ST/Aries cars i've seen use Cortina uprights.
Am I missing something?
Adam.
Hi as far as i know there are no drawings for ST/aries suspension on the net ( although there may be some lurking ).
The front of the ST/Aries cars are slightly different to the book chassis as it was modified to give the correct castor and iron out some of the other
small problems.
The Mk wishbones may well fit but will not give the correct geometry this has been tried by many of the locost racers and proved not to work correctly
As the front of the MK locost is still jigged for zero castor and the chassis has slight differences as it didnt have the small problems ironed out on
it.
And as has been said the st/aries chassis either used the cortina front uprights. Or they also did a car based on the mazda MX 5 ( think it's JAG
who has one of these).
HTH cheers Matt

There're plenty of pics around on the website you posted and on others, so i'm sure you'll be able to find enough information to work
out the dimensions.
Good luck!
