Aboardman - 10/12/07 at 07:42 PM

been driving around last couple of days in my ford focus with rear brakes that are very noisy when i apply the brakes (not all the time) bit like metal on metal.

ok dry night but cold better replace the shoes, call in at halfwits on way home buy new shoes, just been outside to do the job and find I have disc brakes at rear, i did not even know (had the car 5 years), i have plastic wheel trims and did not even bother to look as it has been pissing down all weekend.

doh.

No i have never done anything like that or know of anybody that has !!!!

That 4th spark plug i bought for that 3 cylinder car was a spare one for emergencies

No but my girlfriend used to get up at 6.55 every morning to put the washing machine on. After about 2 years I asked why, turns out she thought that she'd get the whole wash done on the cheap rate when we were on economy seven!
