I'm just converting to paddle shift change. I reckon I must need a new boss that will work with the paddles. It currently has the ford steering column with large thread and hex type shaft.

Anyone already done this and found a suitable boss that fits and doesn't hamper the pivot of the shift and fits down onto the hex of the existing shaft?

If you do search, you will find several threads that have Just this topic on. A couple of the more recent ones show that the existing setup you have can be used.

I know for a fact that Hellfire has used it in hte way with a MK Paddle (which is no longer avail. I think), so if you have no luck searching then try their photo archive or website...

Ive just got a new wheel/boss , since i dont use the steering lock part i machined this outer bit off and fits a treat now although im going to have to find something to cover it all, ill post some pics later.

Although ive used the outer sierra shaft to mount the paddle pivot onto, these pics should give you some sort of idea
