Hi,

Can the reservoir be removed from the sierra master cylinder? its the one with 3 unions on it and the fluid level sensor.

It probably can be removed but its the practicallity of refitting it that i need to know about.

Yes it can be removed .It is held in by two rubber seals, just give the reservoir a hard pull and it will pop out. To refit clean and lube seals and push back on

Fill the cylinder with fluid, put blankers in the union holes, press the pedal hard and watch the reservoir fly into orbit!

does that mean it could happen on the move?! doesnt sound very fun...

no, the pistons move forward and shut of the inlet holes - boring
