hi all ive had to strip out all the master cylinder off my saxo. the car will be about 700kg i think. would i need to have a master cylinder again. i no alot of you lot dont use them in your cars. what would i need to buy to get it all working again.

I think most of us use master cylinders. I assume that it is the servo you are talking about?
Personally, don't know whether your car would be ok or not without a servo. It would still stop without one but would require a bit of leg effort.

Without a master cylinder you may have to use a brick wall to stop. The master cylinder is the part that turns foot pressure into hydraulic pressure which operates the calipers etc. As already suggested the servo may be the part you mean ? which reduces amount of foot effort applied for any given hydraulic pressure.

yes thats what i mean the servo lol. ive been looking at a duel master cylinders with a bias bar. would this be any good for it. or are they for really light cars.

a servo isn't required, but you will need a decent pedal ratio and master cylinder to slave cylinder sizing will be more crucial.
