What size brake hose nuts do I need??
mattgriffiths2002 - 6/3/08 at 06:06 PM

Hi guys,

Does anoyone happen to know what size nuts I need to fit my standard ford brake flexi hoses? They look about 10mm or there abouts but are they a particular thread or anything?

It is for the join basically between my flex and copper pipe. I have made a bracket on the chassis with a hole in it. I am putting the thread on the flex through the hole, then the nut (which I am trying to find) on the other side to fix it to the bracket and then the copper pipe with the female join goes on after that.

So I know it sounds a bit long winded but all im after is the nut size to fit the thread on my flexi hose,

Thanks,

Matt

Pop into a motor factors and ask for some std metric brake pipe nuts. Either male or female as applicable.

Normal size is m10 * 1mm pitch half nut.
