am trying to get hold of the front suspension from a mondeo v6. however it would be much easier and cheaper to get suspension from a normal mondeo? so my question is is the subframe, struts suspension etc the same?

Hmmm dunno. Easiest way is to try have a look for yourself at a scrappy. Otherwise, if you have a friendly ford dealership or good motor factor you might be able to get a look at the exploded diagrams/part numbers on the parts catalogue and check that way. Or alternatively you can normally get dealer parts catalogues off ebay on CDs. I did for vauxhall anyway...
