Could anyone run a ruler over an upright for me?
fruitbat - 8/4/08 at 05:16 PM

I'm trying to identify a fairly common front upright/hub that has the same spacing between the caliper mounting lugs as a Skoda Felicia - 90mm.

The reason is that I'm trying to see if I can get an off the shelf bracket to fit some Wilwood powerlites to the skoda hubs, rather than make some up myself.

If anyone could wave a rule over an upright from something that you can get OTS wilwood mounts for (like a ford of some sort), I would be most grateful.

cheers

Hi Fruitbat, welcome to the forum.

I'm not 100% sure what you want a dimension from, but one thing that might not be apparrent when ordering these parts is that they all need spacers to fit them where they are now.

So, all you have to do is make your own spacers and you're away...

Thanks! On re-reading, I see that my request was a little vague.

It's the dimension shown on this picture that I want to know...

What I would like to do is be able to buy some of the aluminium brackets, like those shown on this picture...

Off the shelf - I know there isn't one available for the skoda itself, but if I can find another car which has the same 90mm spacing between the lugs, I should be able to use a bracket for that model and then space the caliper out to the right radius using spacers....

Cheers
