Master cylinder, What goes where?
Mark G - 12/4/08 at 06:14 PM

Hi guys.

As above I need to know what brake pipes go in which holes on the master cylinder.

Its a standard ford unit off a 1.8 92 sierra.

I'm assuming that the rear one goes to the rear brakes (via a 'T' piece) and that the front two go to each front brake.

Just want to be sure before I start making things permanent.

Thanks
Mark.

Alternative just fit a nipple into one of the front holes in the master cylinder and pipe the other to a Tee

ooh never thought of that, only down side you have 2 extra joins in the plumbing plus cost of T-peice and adaptors.

but waht about the cost of extra pipe if you use 2 separate pipes? well that doesn't really come into it since you buy the pipe in a 15 ft (?) roll anyways.

my pipes were already cut to length by MK and already have all of the fittings on so most of the hard work done already.

Thanks for your help guys.
