I have been told that u can change the drums off the back of the escort axle to disks, i am thinking this because i will have to replace the old drums any way
so can anyone tell me if:

1) is it worth it
2) how hard is it 2 do
3) how much
4) has any1 got any pictures

Burtons etc sell conversion kits to fit Sierra calipers to the Escort axle. Unfrotunately you will have to source handbrake cables etc, as well as modifying brake lines as appropriate. No real gains to be had IMHO, unless you plan to do some serious trackday action.....

Capri 2.8 drums fit the Escort axle for an easy upgrade. Not sure how effective it is but I know it's quite a common mod for the Escort boys so I'm guessing it must work.

Have you had a look at the racing regs? I know nothing, but may be worth a quick question in the racing forum to clarify to see if that is a legal upgrade.
