It's a company. You can google them but the webby isn't much good for finding things! There's a guy one here who works for them but I forget his (and my) name!

nope.

the shaft goes through a plate which has a rubber sleave acting as a bearing but its split, i want to replace it with a rose joint style bearing that will bolt to a flat plate insted of a threded bar

thats the kiddy "daviep" but the center must be able to pivit like a rose bearing as the plate it fastends to is at 90degs and the steering shaft comes through at an angle.

Hiya

I work for Brammer! The bearing that is above my post is identified as a self lube bearing. I run one of these where the steering coloumn goes through the bulke head just above the pedal box on a slight angle and it work's great and gives the shaft more stability. I'll try and get a photo loaded today at some point as i'm on holiday this week. There are avarious different qualities of bearing the one shown above is a japanese item which are ok! the best are the RHP/NSK items.

regards

Gary

IIRC I have seen a post showing how to install the type of bearing you want. If it wasn't here it may have been on the Robin Hood owners site? It may have given the part number and supplier of the bearing if it helps.
