Squeaky bushes
Humbug - 11/5/08 at 05:44 PM

I went out yesterday for the first time in ages without a helmet on and, especially at low speeds, I was aware of how squeaky the bushes are... at least I assume it was them!

Any ideas of how to address it without removing them?

If I do remove them, would it be better to replace them... if so with poly bushes (where from? how much?)? and would those need grease/oil, etc. to prevent recurrence?

Cheers

The hotter it gets the more mine squeak... Apparently vaseline during assembly is the best thing - wish I'd know that five years ago!

mine were squeaking yesterday too. i really can't be arsed stripping it all down to regrease and it didn't take any of the smile off my face.

i'd say driving faster is the best antidote.

Silicone spray? Slippery as a wet nipple and penetrates quite well too (ooh-err )
