I've just ordered the Haynes Roadster book, and was wondering if anyone had analysed the suspension characteristics, to see if it would be good to incorporate some changes to the configuration of the front or rear suspension (regarding roll centre height, camber change, etc.)

Hi Marcel,

The Roadster suspension is optimised within the limits of the Sierra upright.

We managed to virtually eliminate bump steer (down to less than 1mm over the total travel of the suspension)

It could use more trail to help self centreing but this isn't easy to acheive, the offset "mushroom" helps but another degree and a half would be better.

While we;re sort of on the topic.
- Can you say how the chassis/suspention chariteristics of the roadster compaire to that of the MK indy chassis? Or how it compaires to there new chassis?

Currently tossing up which way to go, and MK seam a bloody sound set of people with a very nice car. For about the right price.
