Another VW rear caliper question..
Alan B - 29/5/08 at 07:46 PM

The pipe connection appears to be M12 x 1.0....what is the usual method? Flexi screwed straight in with crush washer or flexi attached to a banjo?...or something else?

Cheers, Alan

I'm about to solve this one myself very soon.

Appears that a custom banjo of some sort is necessary. I've spoken to Goodridge, and they didn't have anything off the shelf that was a correct fit.

Cheers,
Syd.

If I hear anything I'll let you know....someone must have done it already though.

That's a bit odd, they do do kits for the Golf with those calipers. GSF keep them in stock.

I seem to remember it being the flexy going straight into the caliper, no banjos.

i've got the rally design ones which are supposed to be the same as the VW ones, there definatly m12*1.0 mnr supplies the pipes via goodridge, but they got them wrong a few times, i've got a banjo type fitting on the caliper end, but had to get the actual banjo bolt from rally design, as the one goodride sent was m12*1.5 however i've not hooked this lot up yet so i can't tell how well it'll actualy all fit together
