I know this question has been asked before, so bear with me...
I am trying to roughly set up the toe in and camber on my indy (not the new one) and I was wondering as a rough guide, how many threads to leave
showing on the track rod ends and the upper ball joints?
I am using sierra uprights, the MK supplied track rod end extensions and the modified steering rack.
Alternatively if someone can give me the camber and toe in angle I can guesstimate the setup.
Thanks
James
Way to many variables, you are better off putting a sprit level vertically against the wheel and setting it dead upright.

agree with fred, or do a bit of trig and shim the spirit level to give you the angle.
for toe, remove the wheels and support the car on the lower ball joints. clamp some bits of wood to the discs and measure at 2 points for
parellelism.
all ball joints are different. threads showing means nothing.

ok, i have more or less done the front end now, thanks.
One thing, does anybody know why slashes i.e. '/' don't appear on the homepage?
You need a digi bubble and the loan of some tracking gauges mate.
