I'm running a poll on the Dax owners club about spring rates

what spring rates do you run for

a CEC , road use only , two occupants?

just want to see if i'm miles away from what others find best

sorry guys but i think V8's maybe too different to the 4 pot average cars weight maybe..

Ah yes, spring rates. Always an interesting topic on this forum.

Difficult to get or give straight answers due to the variations in the cars themselves, and producing effective spring rateswhich are different from the actual spring rates.

Also because some owners are using their road springs to resist roll in corners and therefore are running stiffer springs than others who drive public roads and have more respect for their kidneys etc

Which V8 are you considering?

John

no - not considering a V8 - but thought a V8 maybe too heavy to compare to a 4 pot engine - i know what you mean about using springs to resist cornering speeds - just wondered what people were using...
