Need to pick some brains please.

I've just driven my car to the MOT (first drive in this form) and reckon I could do with a deeper/longer steering wheel boss to move the wheel closer to me!
However, moving it nearer means access is even more restricted than it is now so it needs to be removable from the Sierra column.

Anyone got any ideas please?
Quick-release deep boss required!

i have a spare raid snap off boss after having the opposite problem to you and getting a racetech weld on boss.

it's about an inch thick and has dowels for security and has no play once locked up unlike the cheaper ones.

it cost me £95 new but it's yours for £55 posted if you want it. it's still got both keys.
