Hi Guys
The brake master cylinder fitted to my Locost has 3 outputs on it.
The nearest output to the pedals goes to the rear brakes, and the 2 outputs that are "level" at the front go to each front brake caliper.
Is it ok to run 1 line to the front brakes using a "t" to split the line to the wheels, and use the remaing output on the m/c for a
hydraulic brake switch?
Thanks
Shaun
Yes, but I would put the tee in the line to the rear and put a switch in that.
Actually legally the brake light switch should be operated by the front brakes --- but this law was part of the old "construction and use" regulations and is now largely forgotten.
Legally, petroleum products can only be carried in a metal container, with a screw top, with the correct marking and be no bigger than 2imp gallons.
It's never stopped me using jerry cans or plastic cans!!
But point taken BT.
