Rear Diff help......

I went to fit my rear diff to my MK Indy R chassis and have found it to be a 7.5" not a 7" (what joy). Anyway I have seen a 7" diff but it has bolt on drive shaft and I have push in drive shafts off the old sierra.

Am I able to convert a bolt on to a push in diff if so how easy?

Thanks.

Does this thread answer your question?

Oh and welcome to the forum. What engine are you fitting?

Phil

I can't remember the answer so won't try!

But I might suggest you're more careful with your e-mail address (your login name) on a forum.... you'll get loads of spam from auto trawlers designed to scan for these things!

All the best,
James

Thanks, i'll show the thread to my bro (who is the real techno behind my build). I suspect for the hassle it looks like I may just go for 7" diff with push in dirve shafts and hope that the lengths are the same.

I am putting in a later R1. (hope it's the right choice)

I thought about my user name, but can't see how to change it.
