Anyone using Sierra Cosworth calipers
Just after a bit of information on the above, I've got someone asking me for brake hoses for the above, but they are telling me they have a
female end going to the caliper - I'm sure I've suppied for Cossie calipers in the past but always with a male fitting to go into a female
m10 x 1.0 drilling in the caliper??? There's nothing different about the entry ports on the Cossie calipers is there?
Appreciate any info you can offer.

I have Granada Cossie Calipers and they have a banjo fitting that screws into the caliper and my goodrich hoses fit on that. Russbost - which brake
fluid would you use?

Sorry, should have been clearer, yes fronts.
Brake fluid, unless you're intending racing Dot 4 is more than adequate, even for extreme road use!
So, if they are using a banjo type fitting, I'm wondering is there no normal seat at the bottom of the drilling?

We swapped from std sierra calipers to 2wd 4 pots without doing anything to the hoses - I don't have access to the car at the mo to confirm but
that suggests they're the same as any other?
Likewise on my xr2 I upgraded to 4wd cos calipers without doing anything hosewise I don't think (was 8yr ago tho so bit vague).

They maybe just confusing the concave/convex end and telling you it's female when what they really mean is concave when both ends are m10x1 male
outers
