Wheel refurb cost?
Anyone any idea how much it would cost to get a set of alloys (corrosion forcing the tyre off the rim) blasted and powder coated would be?
Not too fussed about looks as its an off roader.

The going rate is around £50 a corner. There are firms that will do it for half that. I have heard of one in birmingham and another in london. miles
away from me and nearly another country to you

CAS coatings will do them for £1/inch + VAT. So 4 x 15 inch wheels would be £60+VAT.

I always use BJV Engineering near Latimer. £40/wheel + VAT for a basic blast and powder coat. They do some more expensive options too. Always been
spot on workmanship wise, just a shame a couple of the staff have attitude problems.

Just seen that mentioned elsewhere, and it is city powder coating as mentioned above. £20 if no tires, £30 if need to remove and refit tires.

I had my Saab wheels done twice, first cost £120 and was crap, they remained porous and the finish was hopeless.
Second time I paid £220, they were totally shotblast, primed then coated. After two years they still looked as good, and more importantly the tyres
didnt deflate.
Pay cash...

Just a thought, the Fiat chassis is going here for coating, I forgot they did wheels. He offered me a cracking price on that.
