Capri Axle

I have just bought a Carpi axle for forty quid at a local scrappy. It is reputed to have come from a 2.0 S. The ratio seems to be 3.75:1 using the tipex trick to check and strangely enough, when you turn the propshaft flange, BOTH hubs turn in the same direction!!
I have placed it in the chassis, and the offset seems to be quite severe, I may have to move the tranny tunnel over to the drivers side by about 40mm.
I dont think it is a LSD, probably due to over thick oil.
I did have attached a pair of spax adjutsable shocks, but these had been gas axed at the top. There was also a puny antiroll bar fitted.
Can anyone identify it, or confirm it is what the scrapman said it was?
Either way it is in bloody good nick and it will be staying!
Mark
