Rotating rack

I've an old car I'm rebuilding that has a triumph steering rack. I need to rotate it a bit. This can be done with ease . I could weld a plate in under the "flat" of the rack mount to fix its position. I was just wondering if anyone has a better way of stopping it rotating back in use????

usually, as well as the clamp mounts the triumph rack has a plate on it's left hand end to prevent rotation.

to add,
a quick check ion the rimmer's site, and it has a flange at /each/ end to stop the rotation.
normally mounted with cushioned mounts. but the flanges prevent too much rotation.
